An other season, total success for all the Verdon Wild Life team, thanks notably at good organisation and at some professional partner, who listen and realize your wish. A rigorous management of the territory demonstrated one more time who was the key of the success. Who took the opportunity to discover news territorys and news animals.
EUROPE :
A successful beginning of season on our hunting’s territories of the French’s West-South (Gers & Haute-Garonne). Wich pleasure to be able hunting in the summer, from1 June, the roe buck. The hunt pass mainly from the dawn to 10h00 in the morning and from 18h00 until the night, during the day you can visite a new country (food and tradition) or take a rest. Many Roe bucks were getting by our hunter, and some with a trophie of more than 400 gr and sometime around 500 gr. The season continu with success on our territory of the Alps. Chamois, roe buck, mouflon, wild boar and deer as been always numerous. A rare snow, facilitated the hunt ine the mountain, and allowed the hunt until begining of January. The mildness of the last winter let hope an increase of our population for the next year.
AMERICA :
The united States are an unrecognized country of the french hunter and yet they be worth the trip. The state choose by our hunter is the Colorado for the track of some endemic big game of the north American country like Antelope, Mule Deer and Elk. The success been of 100 %, with a high density of big game. The hunt is on 3 or 7 days, that depend of what you want hunting. He is possible to combo the hunt (depend only of the open season). You will be charme by the kindness of your host and by all the confort.
AFRICA :
In West Africa and more essentially in Burkina Faso we knew a record season. Yes, a Koba with a trophy of 83 cm was shooting to Yeryanga Safari; normally it will begin the new Burkina’s record (10ième World). 2 news Burkina’s trophies took the 1rst place at the SCI Record Book: a Bushbuck and a Western Reedbuck (Nagor). The buffalo are always many on the estate and you can have contact with them everyday; it’s the reason why we can shoot some Buffalo with width of more than 70 cm (big for the savanensis buffalo).
The season continues in Zimbabwe on the track of the big leopard of the Bubi River. The density is very important and offers a high level of success, near 80 %. For rise the level of success we use two way of hunt for find the leopard: during the night in a blind or during the day with dog like driven hunt, very exiting!!! You can also deciding to follow the mythical “Sable”, the population rise every year on the area.
We have this year try a new destination: Namibia. It’s the best in Africa for good value for money. This country offer a traditional hunt in the bush after Greater Kudu, Oryx, Eland …It’s the ideal’s country for a first safari in Africa. The landscape is beautiful and the population is welcoming. We use two hunting way: stalking in the bush or stay near a waterhole (don’t forget your camera you will have many opportunity…).
Second trip in Central Africa Republic (CAR) and second success for our hunter. This time he books his trip for try to find the ghost antelope: “Lords Eland”. The wait was no long, first days and first contact, but without success. We must wait the 3rd days for hear the noise of the 416 Rigby. Buffalo, antelope, warthog came to complete this wonderful safari.
